A: Tate Hill Sands beach which is below Nan’s Cottage is approximately 150m and once the tide is out the beach which runs along the cliffs towards Robin Hood’s Bay is accessible and is perfect for a leisurely walk and fossil hunting. As this is only accessible at low tide it is imperative that you familiarise you and your guests with the high tide times if you want to use this beach.
